Peering is part of a collection of prints that explored the harshness of the Australian Bush environment with a focus on bushfires. This artwork represents burned our fences and structures on rural properties. The greys and blacks represent the charcoal and ash seen in the bush after a fire.
Peering refers to my interest in looking closely at burnt out lands. Having lived in rural NSW, coastal NSW, the ACT, the Adelaide Hills and the hinterland areas of Southern Queensland, the fear of living in bushfire prone areas in Australia has followed me.
Peering a simple, monochromatic print playing with pattern and tone that make for very easy styling. Mix and match this print with others in the series. Available in A4, A3, A2, A1, framed or unframed.
