Lotus Rising #3

Lotus Rising, Mixed Media, 2024 is a Trypych (a set of three) works in a continuing study of the lotus flower and lotus pods. It is part of a greater body of work that explores the spiritual significance of the lotus flower and the texture of lotus pods. 

Using a bold and contemporary colour palette in acrylic paint, posca pen, collage and pastels on brown kraft paper this piece pairs beautifully with other works in the collection.
