Flowers and leaves of plants unique to Australia appeal to me as an artist. The strength and resilience of these plants to survive the harsh Australian climate, our droughts, cyclones and bushfires is impressive. I use spent flowers from bunches bought at florists and I gather leaves and flowers from my garden and from nature where possible and sustainable.
